Tournament Rules

​

  1. 6-game set with No Ad scoring. Round-Robin (NEF) format. 2 guaranteed matches per division
     

  2. At 3-points all, use receiver's choice to determine where to serve the last point for same gender flights. For mixed doubles, man serves to man and woman serves to woman for the last point
     

  3. Play a 7-point tie-break at 6-games all, win by 1 (i.e. @ 6-6 in the tiebreak the next point is 'sudden death': 7-6)
     

  4. The round-robin winner is the team with the most match wins
     

  5. If there is a Tie for match wins, the following criteria will be used to determine the round-robin winner:              
              a. Head-to-Head (H2H) wins
              b. Overall fewest Games lost
              c. H2H fewest Games lost
              d. Coin flip
     

  6. 300 ranking points for each participating player per division 
    100 additional points for each set won for flights/pools with more than 3 teams
    200 additional points for each set won for flights/pools with only 3 teams
    At the end of the year, we will provide a $100 gift card to the lady and gentleman with the highest ranking points

Awards / Prizes

  • The champion and runner-up teams for each flight/division will receive an award

  • Please stop by the scores table to pick up your award so we can capture your photo as well
